Joana Duarte Correia has a degree in Journalism from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, a Master's in Intercultural Relations from Universidade Aberta, FCT scholarship holder for a PhD in Sociology at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Researcher at CIES-Iscte - Centro de Investigação e Estudos de Sociologia, research group Education and Science. Invited Assistant Professor at the Iscte Soft Skills Lab. She has been conducting research in the area of Sociology of Education and Communication - media, literacy, skills, digital inclusion and digital education.
