Jorge Duarte Pinheiro is researcher at Dinâmia’CET – Iscte, and professor of Law at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa), where he has taught since 1989 and of which he was director in 2014-2015. As a researcher and professor, he is mainly dedicated to Succession or Inheritance Law, Family Law, and Children or Minors Law. He has been teaching bachelor's, master's and PhD courses. He has participated as a speaker in more than 150 national and international scientific events. He is the author of around 100 scientific publications, including books. As a member of "Grupo de Trabalho para a Propriedade Rústica", in 2024 he obtained praise from the Government of the Portuguese Republic for the work carried out in that committee (which included the coauthorship of three reports, preparatory to amendments to the law applicable to the structure and transfer of real estate located in Portuguese territory): Louvor n.º 6/2024 | DR (diariodarepublica.pt)
