Luis Ramada Pereira is an Information Technology & Communication Industry professional with extensive technical and executive experience. His passion for the ITC industry in unabated and he keeps a keen interest in emerging technologies and future changes. Currently his emerging topics of interest are machine learning and data and network science. He has a commanding understanding of major topics within the Information Technology and Communications Industry and its applicability across multiple economy sectors.

Luis has a long international experience, having work abroad for many years. Some of his experience include managing international teams, creating transformative propositions for some of the largest companies and managing the resulting projects in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Luis is a long time IBMer, currently engaged in research on Network Science and its applications. He is an invited professor at ISCTE-IUL and a PhD candidate, in his final year, at ISCTE-IUL complexity sciences doctoral program. He graduated in computer sciences and has concluded post-graduation studies in complexity science.
