PhD in Urban Studies (UNL/ISCTE-IUL). Master's Degree in Planning and Evaluation of Development Processes (ISCTE-IUL). Degree in Sociology (University of Coimbra). Visiting lecturer at ISEC Lisbon - Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências and at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has been involved in different research projects and activities mainly in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. Recently she participated in the project Lisbonds - neighbourhood practices, meanings and contexts in Greater Lisbon (Cics.Nova) and in the project Middle Class Mass Housing in Europe, Africa and Asia (Dinâmia'CET-IUL). Co-founder of Urbanólogo, a multidisciplinary platform for the dissemination and promotion of urban issues. During her PhD she studied the revitalisation process of Mouraria in Lisbon and was a visiting researcher at the TU Berlin. Within the scope of the implementation of locally based integrated programmes, she has worked on needs assesment and on the follow-up, evaluation and monitoring of projects in the area of addictive behaviours and addictions. The main interests are the analysis of territories in transformation processes and the social production of space.
