CV Summary
I have a multidisciplinary career, with degrees in journalism, communication, sociology and political science. I have received post-doctoral grants in Portugal and México, a PhD grant in Argentina, and a visiting fellowship in LSE, London.
I am currently researcher at CEI-IUL/ISCTE in Lisbon, Portugal. I got my PhD in Political Science at the University of Salamanca, Spain, in 2009, following public defense of a thesis that became my first book: Retórica, política y administación pública. ¿Por qué fallan las reformas administrativas?, edited by CLACSO and Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. Since then, I have publish another book, as well as 20 articles in indexed journals. I have also published several non-academic publications as institutional/consultancy reports, policy papers, newspapers and blog articles.
I have been leader researcher in international projects funded by the European Commission and in national projects with public funds.
I have coordinated Summer Schools about Transparency, Integrity and Fighting against corruption and about Latin American Studies in Lisbon University Institute.
Since 2013, I have delivered courses, seminars and conferences in universities of México, Argentina, Spain and Portugal (Under graduate programs; Masters Degree and PhD Programs).
I also have a degree in Social Communication and Journalism in the National University of La Plata, Argentina, in 2003. I have worked as a journalist (radio and newspaper) for five years, and I have been collaborated with journals writing opinion articles for more than 10 years.
