Margarida SANTOS is a Research Assistant and a PhD Candidate in Management at the Business Research Unit (BRU) of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), Portugal. She holds a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, both from ISCTE-IUL, Portugal. Adept at leveraging analytical skills and innovative thinking to address complex research questions, Margarida plays an integral role in prestigious European-funded projects, such as the IMAFUSA project, part of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, which received nearly €1,000,000 in funding from the European Commission. She is proficient in cutting-edge research, data analysis and project management, and has a strong record of interdisciplinary collaboration. Her research interests include drone technology, governance and its societal implications, strategy and corporate development, technology management and decision-support systems. Her work has been published in leading international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (ABS 3), International Journal of Strategic Property Management (ABS 2) and Management Decision (ABS 2). She has presented her research at an international conference in the United Kingdom. She also participates as a reviewer at international journals.
