PhD candidate in Sociology at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature – Portuguese Language and its Literature from the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil) and a Master's degree in Communication, Art, and Culture, an interdisciplinary Master's program from the University of Minho (Portugal), with a focus on the sociology of culture. She researches the sociology of books and reading, with research topics including the circulation of printed materials, the book market, cultural consumption, and public cultural policies for books and reading.
Since October 2023, she has been a PhD scholarship holder from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) (2023.00632.BD).
She collaborates with the Portuguese Observatory of Cultural Activities (OPAC) in the sociology of reading research team.
