PhD candidate in Sociology at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature – Portuguese Language and its Literature from the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil) and a Master's degree in Communication, Art, and Culture, an interdisciplinary Master's program from the University of Minho (Portugal), with a focus on sociology of culture. Researches the sociology of books and reading, with research topics including the circulation of printed materials, the book market, cultural consumption, and public cultural policies for books and reading.

Collaborates with the Portuguese Observatory of Cultural Activities (OPAC) in the sociology of reading research team.
