Sara Nunes has a degree in Sociology from Iscte-IUL and is currently developing a master's thesis in the same area and institution.
She began her research path in 2019, as part of a non-curricular internship, with participation in a study about The Veterinary Profession in Portugal" (CIES-Iscte). As a trainee, she also took part in drawing up the Educational Charter and Strategic Educational Plan for the Municipality of Oeiras. Since then, she has taken part in various research projects related to the preparation of diagnostic studies, strategic documents and project/programme evaluation models, in the areas of Sociology of Education, Public Policies and Social Intervention.
She currently works as a research assistant at CoLABOR, as part of the DataLabor team, a statistical and legal database platform. Her research interests include topics such as poverty and social exclusion, gender inequalities and multi-method methodologies.
