LEANDRO F. PEREIRA is a Full Professor of Strategy at ISCTE Business School, where he is involved in teaching, research, and academic administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, a postdoctoral qualification in Management from ISCTE, and a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Minho. Throughout his career, he has built a career that spans academia, consulting, and executive leadership. He is the founder and CEO of WINNING Consulting, an international management and technology consulting firm with approximately 300 employees and a presence in Portugal, Spain, and Australia. He also serves as Vice President for Iberia at Alan Allman Associates. His scholarly output includes 250 articles published in indexed journals, 21 published books/chapters, and 38 scientific papers, and he has been recognized by ScholarGPS as ranking among the top 0.5% worldwide in scientific quality. In 2017, he was honored with the Best CEO of the Year award by Best Team Leaders, and during his undergraduate studies, he received the award for best student at the University of Minho. At ISCTE Executive Education, he directs programs such as the Postdoctoral Program in Business Administration, the Executive Master’s in Program and Project Management, the Postgraduate Program in Agile Project and Business Management, and the Postgraduate Program in Management Consulting. Throughout his career, he has advised dozens of doctoral students and supervised more than 140 master’s theses. He is also a founding director of the PMI Portugal Chapter and founder of the Business Case Institute, and is internationally recognized in the areas of Strategy, Project Management, Problem Solving, and Benefits Realization Management.
