In order to diagnose and characterize Gender Equality in Banking, a set of interviews with women, privileged interlocutors, in the area of ??the banking sector was used, that is, with professional experience of not less than five years looking to analyze, in particular, equal opportunities for career advancement and reconciliation of work and personal and family life.
We sought to understand, therefore, the main constraints of women in career progression through three axes of problematization: tracing the personal profile and hiring of the interviewees; then, taking into account issues such as the discrimination experienced in career advancement, benefit from (or benefit from) flexibility in working time and the possibility of reconciling work and family life; and, finally, asking about the measures to be taken to promote an effective equality in career development.
