EDITS II is a joint project between DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte (D'C) and the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) with the aim at collaborating on the empirical and modeling analysis of new disruptive trends of technological and social innovation for reducing energy demand.
D'C and RITE will develop the low energy demand empirical work under increasing digitalization.
The project aims at improving the understanding about the effect of end-use granular technologies on the speed and intensity of technological transitions. This requires the examination of technological substitution processes through historical comparative analysis to assess the impact of different types of technologies including from the demand side.
Develop of a report on "Historical dynamics of formation and decline in technological transitions".
