To accelerate translation of research of EM medical imaging into clinical prototypes by advancing the technology, addressing possible standardizing procedures and developing prototypes for novel applications.To set-up and support the first complete scientific and training programme in EM medical imaging at a European Level (and where possible worldwide).To provide the Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) with excellent, multi-disciplinary scientific training and a set of competitive, transferable skills.To expose the ESRs to academic and non-academic sectors, improving their future career perspectives.

Esta fase do projeto Estudo de Públicos de Museus Nacionais, promovido pela DGPC e coordenação científica do CIES-IUL,  consiste na apresentação dos resultados específicos de nove dos quatorze museus participantes: Museu Nacional dos Coches, Museu Nacional de Grão Vasco, Museu Nacional do Teatro e da Dança, Museu Nacional do Traje, Museu Nacional da Música, Museu Nacional de Etnologia, Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea - Museu do Chiado, Museu Monográfico de Conimbriga - Museu Nacional e Casa-Museu Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves.

‘Science in the city’ will be the motto to involve the general public with research activities and scientific knowledge that are underway to help answering to major concerns of urban communities related to global changes, and to shape and improve quality of life for the next decades. This motto is highlighted given the increasing levels of concern perceived in urban society, in particular among young people, on how to overcome global changes, while preserving natural and cultural heritage in the attempt to reach sustainability. By adopting this vision for the European Researchers' Night, this proposal intends to respond to Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and societal goals of the EU framework program. It aims therefore to raise public awareness on the relevance of science to assure quality of life in the future and to bridge the gap between scientists and society, giving researchers the opportunity to perceive the main concerns of citizens and how they see and understand their work, while engaging young people with science. The project will reflect on this problematic in the context of cultural heritage preservation. The consortium of this project, coordinated by the University of Lisbon through the National Museum of Natural History and Science (MUHNAC-ULisboa), combines efforts between researchers of major universities in Portugal – University of Minho, University of Lisbon, Nova University in Lisbon, University of Évora and the Lisbon University Institute. The Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies in Estoril will contribute to the cultural heritage preservation approach while disseminating food security practices and the Lisbon municipality will be a central partner for the engagement of diverse audiences and civil society stakeholders. The project will cover urban areas in Portugal from north to south, bridging the gap between researchers and society and contributing to bring societal actors together for the research and innovation process.

O projeto é executado por uma equipa de investigadores afetos ao CIES-IUL, à qual compete: a) Apoiar os municípios no levantamento das manifestações tauromáquicas presentes nos seus territórios. b) Promover o levantamento da componente nacional da cultura tauromáquica, isto é, dos elementos que não se reduzem aos territórios municipais, mas antes, que apresentem dimensão nacional. c) Elaborar conteúdos e reunir a documentação necessária às propostas de registo das práticas taurinas em território nacional para o Inventário Nacional do Património Imaterial (INPCI).

O presente projeto de investigação é constituído por duas dimensões de análise: aprendizagem ao longo da vida e cultura. Será concretizado a partir de uma análise secundária de dados das 3 edições (2007, 2011 e 2016) do Inquérito à Educação de Adultos (IEFA), um inquérito promovido a nível europeu pelo Eurostat, e realizado em Portugal pelo INE, que inclui indicadores alargados sobre a educação e aprendizagem, assim como sobre práticas culturais.  A primeira dimensão desta investigação incide na relação dos adultos pouco escolarizados com a aprendizagem ao longo da vida. Pretende-se elaborar uma tipologia que distinga diferentes perfis deste segmento da população. A segunda dimensão, referente à cultura, incide na relação entre aprendizagem e práticas culturais e na relação dos inquiridos com instituições culturais, procurando-se identificar o volume e a intensidade dessas práticas numa perspetiva comparada transnacional e inter-regional nacional, bem como elaborar uma tipologia que elucide sobre os modos de relação com a cultura.
