Rapid Diagnosis for Assessing the Country Level Impact of COVID-19
Description

The objective is to collect statistical data and analyse the employment impacts of Covid-19 at the country-level. This exercise is not focusing on collecting policy responses; rather, the diagnostics will take a more detailed approach to analysing these issues. In particular, the rapid diagnostics will seek to: 1. Assess the current impact or most probable transmission mechanisms of the new coronavirus crisis on a country's economy and labour market. Deliverable 1: Synthesis report of the Rapid Assessment of employment impacts of COVID-19 Deliverable 2: Report containing updates to the initial assessment based on more recent economic and labour market data and policy developments 2. Review existing policy responses and identify lessons and gaps in policy implementation.
