Abstract
A ligação entre apostas e desporto não é uma novidade histórica, mas a situação atual tem significativas diferenças e especificidades. Da captação da atenção da juventude para sustentar o desporto profissional até ao envolvimento de celebridades e influenciadores, passando pelo enorme crescimento das receitas de empresas e Estados com as apostas desportivas, uma questão merece reflexão: que desporto queremos? Há uma escolha a fazer entre um «Desporto Social» e um «Desporto Indústria».
