In this chapter, I highlight the main findings of the international project ‘Mobilisation of Resources for Public Engagement’ (MORE-PE). The project aimed to contribute to strengthening our understanding about the place of science communication at research universities, with a focus on the meso-level of the organisations. The data points towards the institutionalisation of public communication of science at research institutes, and the broad range of activities, resource allocation and future expectations for growing efforts.
