Abstract
O trabalho que nos propomos apresentar surge no âmbito de uma investigação de pós-doutoramento, intitulada O LNEC e a História da Investigação em Arquitectura (SFRH/BPD/117167/2016), que tem o Dinâmia-CET’IUL como instituição de acolhimento e os professores Teresa Marat-Mendes (ISCTE-IUL), Michel Toussaint (FAUL) e Margarida Acciaiuoli (FCSH-UNL) como supervisores. Esta investigação visa avaliar, de forma sistemática, a importância da Divisão de Construção e Habitação (e das posteriores unidades orgânicas) do Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC) na pesquisa da Arquitectura e do Urbanismo em Portugal.
