Abstract
Tomando como ejemplo el muy reciente proceso de turistificación de la ciudad de Lisboa, se busca en este ensayo entender como la instrumentalización de los espacios patrimonializados urbanos, y su convergente gentrificación, abren camino a las nuevas practicas rituales del llamado turismo cultural. Por vía del viraje neoliberal del período de la globalización que impulsa la comodificación generalizada del ocio todos somos potenciales ciudadanos de la Cucaña – entendida aquí como el epitome del imaginario popular del ocio.
