Abstract
Albert Camus (1913-1960), filósofo francês nascido na Argélia, jornalista, escritor, criança pobre destinada a não ir à escola, adulto tuberculoso impedido de ser futebolista, vendedor ocasional de peças de automóvel, crítico da política colonial francesa, ex-comunista, editor de um jornal clandestino na época da Resistência francesa contra os Nazis, encenador de peças de teatro, crítico do Stalinismo, fumador acérrimo de tabaco, morto por um acaso, escreveu sobre o absurdo da existência e a necessidade de nos recuperarmos e reerguermos. Na sua obra “O Estrangeiro”, concluída em 1940, Camus fala-nos do bem e do mal como algo sem distinções reais.
