Alexandra Saraiva, Digitization Coordinator at the DAVID‑Lab, Iscte, is an architect (1995), with a master’s degree (2008) and a PhD in Architecture (2011). She is an integrated researcher at DINÂMIA’CET‑IUL, where she held a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) between 2015 and 2022. She currently serves as an Assistant Researcher, working on the project “Learning from the Past”, dedicated to the study of participatory housing production and its relevance to contemporary challenges. Her scientific activity focuses on the History of Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism in Portugal, housing studies, and architectural and urban heritage. She has published in specialized journals, participated in international conferences, and has experience in exhibition curation. A specialist in the documentary processing of architectural archives, she collaborated with the Marques da Silva Foundation on the management and incorporation of several collections. She has been a Professor at Universidade Lusíada do Porto since 1996 and was a researcher at CITAD between 2007 and 2015.
