Creation of a Laboratory for Digitization and Advanced Data Visualization (DAViD Lab), a unique infrastructure in the national and regional context, which falls under the priority of investment 1A - Competitiveness and Innovation of the Lisbon2030-2024-36 Call for Proposals. The DAViD Lab will allow the multidimensional identification of historical, cultural and scientific archives of high heritage value, promoting the preservation and accessibility of documents and objects. This infrastructure will be equipped with advanced digitisation and data curation technologies, including interactive and collaborative solutions based on digital tools and artificial intelligence.

The "Research Data Management Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities" (RDMC-SSH) is an initiative led by Iscte Knowledge and Innovation (Iscte KI). The Centre will focus on establishing an infrastructure for managing research data in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), addressing the specific needs related to data management in these disciplines.

Re.Data aims to establish and operationalise the Portuguese Research Data Management (RDM) support network alongside the RDM capacity hub, enabling a networked community of practice to operate three competence centers on policies, training and data curation support, furthermore aiming to develop a national research data culture aligned with the FAIR data principles to converge with the EOSC.

Science for Global Challenges is the motto to engage general public, especially young students, with research activities and scientific knowledge that may answer to major world and European challenges related to environmental, economical and social sustainability. This proposal intends to directly respond to Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) goals of the EU framework program by raising public awareness, also among school communities, about the relevance of science to assure resources preservation, green economy, decarbonization, social equity and inclusion, while bridging the gap between scientists and society, giving researchers the opportunity to perceive the main concerns of citizens and how those understand their work. Schools and their students will be involved in activities during the whole project, in order to ensure scholar impact, icluding the younger. By increasing public and students outreach, ‘SCIGLO’ will contribute simultaneously for two main objectives: (i) improving the understanding of the importance of scientific careers development and science investments; (ii) increasing researchers' understanding of the role of society as a whole for sustainable science policies development.
