Florinda Matos is PhD in Social Sciences, Organizational Behavior Studies by University of Lisbon. She has a master's degree in business sciences by Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Licentiate degree in Management of Agricultural Business and a Licentiate degree in Agronomic Engineering, both by Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. She teaches several disciplines in graduate and post-graduate courses (management, intellectual capital management, knowledge management, innovation, entrepreneurship, human capital management) and she is a business consultant. Her main research interests are: Management, Sustainability, Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital, Measuring of Intangibles, Innovation, Additive Manufacturing and Digital Transformation. She was a founding member of ICAA - Intellectual Capital Association and, currently, she its president. She is a member of the New Club of Paris, an international organisation whose main objective is to create awareness about Knowledge Economy. Likewise, she is a member of the Observatory on Knowledge Management and Innovation in Public Administration, from IPEA - Institute for Applied Economic Research of Brazilian Government. In addition, she is an associate researcher of DINÂMIA'CET - IUL - Centre for Socioeconomic and Territorial Studies. She was also a Post-Doc researcher in the area of the Social Impacts of Additive Manufacturing in NOVA.id.FCT and, presently, she is leading the project "KM3D - Knowledge Management in Additive Manufacturing: Designing New Business Models" in a national consortium, funded by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. Moreover, she is a member of the scientific committee of several international conferences, where she has participated as organizer, speaker, mini-track chair and reviewer. She has more than 30 published academic articles and scientific papers, book chapters and books related to management, sustainability, knowledge management, intellectual capital management, digital transformation and innovation. She is an active participant in the press, where she has published more than 200 articles of opinion on issues of economic and social actuality.
