Henrique Monteiro is Assistant Professor at the ISCTE-IUL Business School and a researcher at BRU-IUL. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from ISEG-UTL. His main research interests are in environmental and natural resource economics, especially in the area of water management and applied microeconometrics. He has published his work in Water Resources Research, Review of Urban and Regional Development Studies and International Review of Economics Education. He also worked as a consultant for the European Commission, the River Basin Authorities of Alentejo and Algarve and the Regional Government of Madeira.
