This project aims at opening and developing in Spain, although in terms of comparative history and with a wide international collaboration, a new line of historical research in relation to public and private international credit in the long 19th century. It will analyse the credit relation as a mechanism of political and cultural power and as a mechanism of cultural transfer. Institutions, models and discourses in the politico-economic field, as well as in the political field and in the one of social relations and imaginaries will be the transfers we will deal with.
