Abstract
This e-book aims to publish three papers related to interventions in Conferences that were not yet available to the researchers. The first two result from my participation in the project “Cultural History of Public Debt in the Iberian Peninsula from the Old Regime to the end of nineteenth century directed by Juan Pan Montojo, (Ministério da Economia, Madrid). Short versions were presented in the seminar held in Madrid in February 2017 (first Chapter) and in the World Economic History Conference in Boston in 2018 (second chapter). The third chapter has its origins in the paper presented in the conference of the Transport History Association (T2M) in Caserta 2015.
