Abstract
In diesem Kapitel werden die Fragestellung sowie der Forschungsgegenstand der Studie näher erläutert. Ausgehend von den Untersuchungen von Bourdieu und seinen Mitarbeiter:innen zu den grandes écoles im Rahmen von La noblesse d’État wird in einem ersten Schritt die Fragestellung der Arbeit entwickelt, die sich auf die Situation der Écoles normales supérieures vor dem Hintergrund gegenwärtiger Transformationsprozesse der französischen Hochschul- und Forschungslandschaft bezieht. In einem zweiten Schritt wird der Forschungsgegenstand der Studie, die Selbstentwürfe und -positionierungen der Écoles normales supérieures, vorgestellt.
