Abstract
O objectivo deste artigo é descreve-se quais foram as consequências da queda dos preços do petróleo na dinâmica comercial da fronteira Oshikango-Santa Clara. Foi feita uma análise documental de informações recolhidas de vários documentos sobre o tema dos preços do petróleo e a sua infl uência na dinâmica transfronteiriça. Está concluído: O crescimento da economia de Angola está vinculado principalmente à exploração petrolífera, apesar do país ser possuidor de uma grande riqueza em recursos naturais; esta ocorrência exerceu infl uência signifi cativa sobre o comércio informal transfronteiriço, o qual representa uma base económica importante na zona geográfi ca que limita Angola e Namíbia.
