Abstract
Nas últimas décadas, os serviços têm assumido uma importância crescente no processo de acumulação capitalista. É neste sector que se incluem os call centers, cuja expansão vem sendo alimentada pela mundialização do capital, pela difusão generalizada das tecnologias de informação e comunicação e pela reestruturação produtiva que caracteriza o novo regime de acumulação que Harvey (1989) designou por “acumulação flexível”, no qual a natureza destrutiva do capital se aprofundou (MÉSZÁROS, 1996).
