Abstract
Num contexto marcado pela transformação digital, cresce a necessidade de digitalizar, preservar e tornar acessíveis os acervos históricos e culturais, assim como de visualizar de forma interativa dados complexos. Esta realidade exige soluções tecnológicas avançadas, que aliem inovação e impacto social. Em resposta a esses desafios, o Iscte-IUL apresenta o Laboratório de Digitalização e Visualização Avançada de Dados (DAViD Lab), uma infraestrutura pioneira no panorama nacional e internacional. O DAViD Lab viabilizará a digitalização multidimensional de arquivos históricos, culturais e científicos de elevado valor patrimonial, promovendo a sua preservação e acessibilidade. Além disso, o laboratório integrará tecnologias como inteligência artificial, modelação preditiva, ambientes imersivos e visualização multimodal interativa, com aplicações práticas em áreas como cultura, transportes, educação, saúde, cidades e territórios inteligentes e sustentáveis, bem como nas indústrias criativas.
