Abstract
In der Einleitung wird zunächst ein kurzer Einblick in die aktuelle Situation des Feldes der Elitebildung in Frankreich gegeben und anschließend auf die französischen Elitehochschulen Écoles normales supérieures eingegangen, deren Erforschung bereits ein Kernstück der kritischen Eliteforschung von Bourdieu und seinen Mitarbeiter:innen darstellte. Darauffolgend wird in das Anliegen und die Fragestellung der Arbeit eingeführt und auf den Forschungskontext, in welchem diese entstanden ist, eingegangen, woran sich Erläuterungen zum Aufbau der Studie sowie zu formalen Gesichtspunkten anschließen.
