Abstract
LUMIRing is a unique multicore fiber (MCF) testbed deployed in the demanding environment of the Lisbon underground. It features five distinct MCF types totaling over 1900 km, enabling the demonstration of ultra-high-capacity optical networking. We report recent experimental results on the testbed technical features.
