Abstract
O presente capítulo procede a uma análise da evolução dos vários sectores da indústria transformadora e dos serviços em Portugal, ao longo da década de 1990. O objectivo subjacente consiste em procurar relacionar as tendências observadas ao nível do volume de emprego, com as transformações estruturais ocorridas em cada sector, em termos de evolução da procura e da mudança tecnológica.
