Abstract
O presente texto aborda uma investigação desenvolvida sobre o arquiteto Paulo Henrique de
Carvalho Cunha, principal especialista português em programas portuários, baseada, sobretudo, no Arquivo da Administração dos Porto de Lisboa, Setúbal e Sesimbra. Este equipamento, técnica e humanamente exemplar, sediado no Parque Empresarial da Quimiparque, no Barreiro, desde Junho de 2019, conserva, trata, descreve e disponibiliza documentação oriunda dos arquivos intermédio e histórico daquelas entidades portuárias. Sendo os estuários dos rios Tejo e Sado, funcional, económica e administrativamente inseparáveis da ocupação das suas margens, essa documentação, escrita e desenhada, reveste-se de importância fulcral para aqueles que estudam esses territórios, nas suas diversas vertentes.
