Abstract
Der Band untersucht institutionelle Identitäten von Elitehochschulen im Pariser Raum vor dem Hintergrund gegenwärtiger Transformationsprozesse der französischen Hochschul- und Forschungslandschaft. Im Zentrum stehen dabei die École normale supérieure de la rue d’Ulm sowie die École normale supérieure de Cachan, an denen Experteninterviews mit Hochschullehrern und -lehrerinnen durchgeführt, hochschulkulturelle Ereignisse beobachtet sowie Dokumente der Selbstdarstellung der Hochschulen analysiert wurden. Die Publikation versteht sich als ein Beitrag zu einer Aktualisierung der Forschung zum System der Elitebildung in Frankreich im Umkreis von Pierre Bourdieu.
