Jorge Santos is a PhD candidate in Sociology (Iscte). Master in Communication, Culture and Information Technologies (Iscte). He was a researcher at OAC - Observatory of Cultural Activities (1999-2013) and is now part of the research team at OPAC - Portuguese Observatory of Cultural Activities. His current lines of research are cultural policies, cultural management, monitoring and performance of museums and museum audiences. Since 2019, has been working at the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage/Museums and Monuments of Portugal on the implementation of Cultural Heritage Information Systems and collaborating on various projects within the Portuguese Museum Network.
