Jorge Nascimento is a multidisciplinary researcher at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), and lecturer at ISCTE Business School (ISCTE-IUL). He has over twenty years of business leadership experience in Executive Committee, marketing communications, digital, retail and management roles, in sectors such as Industrial, Retail, Consumer Electronics, and Telecom.
His research on consumer behaviour, sustainability, branding and technological disruption has been published in a variety of international Scopus Q1 and ABS-listed journals. In addition, his current research interests also include the influence of emotional and social aspects in consumer decision-making processes.
Jorge also serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences, and contributed through book chapters, and presented his work on international events such as GAMMA/Global Marketing Conference, ANZMAC, and Euromed Academy of Business.
