Graduated in Psychology and Educational Sciences from the University of Coimbra, PhD and aggregate in Social psychology and Organizations by Iscte-Iul, the institution where he teaches and investigates.

Professor in graduate and post-graduate education, advisor of master's and doctoral theses and researcher in themes of organizational behavior.

In authorship and co-authorship, dissemination of knowledge through 15 books, more than a hundred scientific articles and book chapters and two hundred participations in national and international scientific events.
