PhD in Modern and Contemporary History from ISCTE-IUL, in 2017, with a Thesis entitled "The Defense and Safeguarding of Heritage in Portugal: the Heritage Defense Associations (1974-1997)". Post-Graduation in Heritage and Cultural Projects at ISCTE-IUL in 2009. Degree in History, Archaeology, from the University of Lisbon, in 1994. Integrated Researcher at CIES-IUL, being a researcher of the OPAC - Portuguese Observatory of Cultural Activities, specialized in issues on Cultural Heritage. Research projects focused on Cultural Heritage, PI in an International Project: frameWork for the evaluatiOn of social transfoRmation Through cultural Heritage. Invited Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL and currently teaches the Curricular Units of Heritage Inventory and Interpretation (Master's Degree in Culture Studies and Management); Cultural Heritage Projects (Master's Degree in Cultural Studies and Management). Her professional career began in Archaeology, with the participation in several archaeological interventions within the scope of Environmental Impact Studies, Field Prospections, Archaeological Excavations, Heritage Enhancement Projects and Cultural Heritage Management. Linked to the associative movement for the Defense of Heritage, with a participation in the Portuguese Association of Friends of Castles (between 2003 and 2013), being responsible for the development of heritage enhancement and safeguarding projects, namely in the field of fortification, and more recently in the Portuguese Association of Industrial Archaeology, being a member of its Board. Member of the Board of ICOMOS Portugal.
