Abstract
A qualidade dos dados deve ser aferida pela importância que estes vão ter na produção de informação. Apesar de cada vez se assistir a um maior interesse relativamente a este assunto ainda não se põe em prática procedimentos de data quality em muitas das empresas. Neste estudo mostra-se a complexidade deste tema, as consequências de não se investir nesta área e como é possível resolver alguns aspetos de má qualidade de dados. É aqui apresentada uma ferramenta, Potter’s Wheel.
