Abstract
[...] In the light of the most recent developments in the field, this special issue sought to promote research and applications of contemporary decision-making methodologies to the development of technology and society. The special issue was open to all contributions proposing both new decision-making methods and advances in existing techniques within the scope of the special issue. Any theoretical, empirical and experimental work related to contemporary decision-making theory and associated applications in technology and society was welcome. In particular, contributions dealing with MCDM/A in real-world decision situations were particularly appreciated. [...]
