Abstract
Ausgehend von einer gesellschaftstheoretischen Verortung von Kindheit und Jugend in der späten Moderne ist es Ziel dieses Beitrags Konturen eines Programms einer transnational ausgerichteten Kindheits- und Jugendforschung zu entwickeln. Diese gründen sich auf theoretischer Ebene auf die Konzepte des ‚transnationalen Sozial- raums‘ (2.1) und des ‚transnationalen Kapitals‘ (2.2) und auf methodologisch- methodischer Ebene auf die Strategien der multi-sited ethnography (3.1) und der Gruppeninterpretation (3.2). Die Reflexionen verstehen sich insgesamt als Bausteine einer transnational ausgerichteten Kindheits- und Jugendforschung, die noch vor vielfältigen Herausforderungen steht (4).
